A federal corrections officer fired a weapon during an incident on City Avenue early Monday morning.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — A federal corrections officer was involved in a shooting on City Avenue early Monday morning, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred at the Sunoco gas station at the intersection of City Avenue and Conshohocken State Road.
The officer was involved in an altercation with another man, and ultimately fired his weapon. No one was struck.

CBS3 reports that the officer and the other man are in custody.
Their names have not yet been released and no charges have been announced.
