Fire Breaks Out At Narberth Residence Wednesday

When crews arrived, the first floor was fully involved, fire officials said.

A fire broke out in a Narberth home Wednesday afternoon and when crews arrived the first floor was fully involved.

According to Lower Merion Fire Officials,crews were distracted to the unit block of Chestnut Avenue in Narberth for a house fire at about 3 p.m.

Upon arrival crews found a fill involved first floor of a two-and-a-half-story home, fire officials said.

Fire engines began attacking the fire from above and on the ground and had the visible fire knocked down after about half an hour.

After about 40 minutes, the fire was under control, fire officials said.
