Get Your Flashlights Out, The Narberth Scavenger Hunt Is Almost On

Download the new scavenger hunt app to make the most of the annual hunt.

Narberth will be flooded with flashlight beams and people in viking hats Saturday night as the Narberth Scavenger Hunt begins at 7:30 p.m. behind the Greeks Next Door in Commerce Alley.

Teams are to check in at 7 p.m. and the hunt will end at 9:30 p.m. again behind Greeks Next Door in Commerce Alley. When winners are crowned, hunters can gather at 10 p.m. at the Pub for karaoke.

All proceeds from the hunt will benefit Eldernet of Lower Merion and Narberth.

New to the 2016 hunt is the Scavify smartphone app, which can be downloaded for free on Apple and Android devices and records and scores the scavenger hunt. Check out how the app works in the video below:

For parents participating in the hunt, babysitting services are still available courtesy of Girls Scout Troop 7691 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Narberth Girl Scout House, which is adjacent to the Narberth Community Library. Babysitting fees are $20 per child or $30 per family. Click here for more information on the babysitting services and also to sign up. Plenty of space is available.
