The Lower Merion School District's Student Health Services Department is opening its own COVID-19 Healthline. LMSD Nurses will triage messages left at the COVID-19 Healthline number and respond. LMSD is taking this step because the current surge in cases in our community has outpaced the Montgomery County Office of Public Health's ability to confirm cases and conduct contact-tracing in a timely manner.

Parents/Guardians and LMSD staff are asked to call 610-645-1973 to report positive test results or exposure to individuals with confirmed cases of COVID-19. LMSD Staff members should use this number to report their own cases. Parents and guardians should use the number to report cases for their children who attend LMSD schools.

Parents, guardians and staff can also call this number with questions about COVID-19, isolation or quarantine, or questions about COVID-19 testing and testing locations. Please note, the nurses cannot provide individual medical advice. Anyone with questions about an individual health condition is urged to call their healthcare provider. If it is a medical emergency, call 911.

Callers will be asked to leave their name, contact phone number and email. A nurse from the Health Services COVID team will reply by phone or email by the end of the following business day.
