Lower Merion Hosting Weekend Clean-Up Event

Lower Merion Township will be holding a clean-up event on Saturday and Sunday at the township Public Works Complex.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, residents may drop off unwanted refuse and recyclables -- such as household appliances, textiles, plastic, glass or newsprint -- free of charge.

Trash and recyclables must be separated, and proof of residency will be required.

Township crews will be on site to help residents unload items.

The Lower Merion Public Works Complex is at 1300 N. Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.
