Lower Merion School District : Additional Crossing Guards To Be Posted

Lower Merion School District is pleased to share that additional Lower Merion Township temporary crossing guards will be stationed at the locations below, starting Monday, Feb. 1, 2021:

• Montgomery Avenue at Conshohocken State Road/Bala Avenue
  • By BMW of the Main Line and Cynwyd Station

• Montgomery Avenue at Levering Mill Road/Old Lancaster Road

• By Wark's Service Station and the sign store

These crossing guards will be in place through the end of this school year, with the hope that more students will be able to safely walk to school. If more students walk to school and fewer students ride school buses, the buses will have more room to allow for social distancing.

The hours for the crossing guards are:

• 7:45 a.m. to 9:10 a.m.

• 11:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.

• 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
