Library Top Pick of the Day: The BC Library's Top Pick of the Day is ANY DAY WITH YOU by author Mae Respecio. During the summer before seventh grade, Kaia, who enjoys living in Southern California, visiting the beach with her family, and creating movie make-up effects, makes a film with her friends to win a contest and hopefully prevent her beloved great-grandfather from moving back to the Philippines. Stuco Football: It's that time of year! Next Monday, on November 8th, the long-awaited BC-Welsh Valley football game is happening at none other than Harriton High School. For a mere 5 dollars (Or a non-perishable food item of your choice) you can get the chance to see the future of athletics. But feel free to bring a little extra cash, as there will be plenty of snacks on sale. Remember, that's 6 PM, November 8th, Next Monday, at Harriton High School. The game is on; Let's win it!
GLIST: Are you a girl interested in technology? Do you like to code and work with computers? Join GLIST or Girls Lead in Science and Technology! Our first meeting will be on November 5th until 4:30 in room 202. No experience needed. We are open to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls. Scholastic Art & Writing: Calling all artists and writers! Have you considered submitting your drawings, paintings, memoirs, stories, or poetry to the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing competition? Well, maybe it's time you should! If you are in seventh or eighth grade and would like more information, check out artandwriting.org and/or stop by see Dr. Nichols in room 202. Submissions are accepted through December 10.

Hey BC Knights! Come out to support your BC Football team under the lights at Harriton High School, Monday, November 8th at 6 pm as they crush the Haverford Fords! Tickets are $5 or you can bring in a canned or non-perishable food for admission. All food to be donated, money will be used to buy gift cards for Thanksgiving meals for those in need. Bring a friend and bring money for snacks, too! Hope to see you there!
Congratulations to the BC Field Hockey team on their 2-0 win over Drexel Hill. Both offense and defense supported one another throughout the entire game. Goals were scored by Saylor Harman and Amelia Beale. Way to go girls! Today's game is at Paxon Hollow. Dismissal is at 2:00pm for a 2:15 departure. Go Knights!
Boys Soccer: The 8th Grade Boys Soccer team defeated Northly Middle School 7-0 Wednesday. Carson Cox had a hat-trick. Additional goals were scored by Colin Whitaker, Caden Arnold, and Youseff Ibrahim. Tymon O and Kai Kushner each had 2 assists and Alex Jackson also had an assist. Enzo Bellomo and Noah Thur combined for a shut out!
BCXC: This past Thursday our Bala Cynwyd Cross Country team traveled to Rose Tree Media Park to compete in the Haverford Invitational. It was a fantastic race ran by all with many runners beating their personal course records! Alex France, Arjay Miller, Zach Krimsky and Sawyer Friedman-Olshan finished within the top twenty for boys and Sophie Thomas, Eleanor Lunger, Rachael Underwood, Grace Underwood and Clara Rendle were among the top finishers for girls. Go BCXC!
