Lower Merion Township: Firefighter Memorial Service And Traffic Delays, Saturday, July 10

As many of our residents are aware. Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Volunteer Fire Fighter, Sean DeMuynck, sadly lost his life from injuries sustained during a house fire in the Wynnewood section of Lower Merion Township on July 5, 2021.

Saturday, July 10, 2021, the Memorial Service for volunteer firefighter Sean DeMuynck, will be held at the Lower Merion High School during the morning hours.

Please be advised that traffic delays will be significant in and around the area of the High School. Montgomery Avenue will be closed from Church Road to Penn Road and there will be significant delays and lane restrictions east of Penn Road.  If possible, please avoid Montgomery Avenue during the morning hours on Saturday, July 10.

We anticipate this traffic disruption to be cleared by approximately 1pm, following the dismissal and departure of those attending the memorial service.
