On Saturday, July 10, 2021, at about 3:00 p.m., the police department received a call to check on the wellbeing of a driver in a car stopped on the street in front of 122 Ardmore Avenue in Ardmore. Officers discovered the lone male occupant deceased in the vehicle.

The victim suffered a head injury from a single gunshot resulting in his death. The victim’s identification is being withheld until next of kin can be contacted.
Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information about the injuries or evidence found at the scene will be released at this time. Preliminary investigation has provided leads that police are actively pursuing. There is no current concern for public safety for residents in the area.
