Lower Merion Township Seeking Public Access TV Provider

Proposals will be accepted through Dec. 15, the township said.

Lower Merion is seeking a public access TV provider for the station that serves the Township and the Borough of Narberth. A Request for Proposals is available from the township.

According to the township:

If a winning proposal is selected, the provider would begin broadcasting on Comcast Xfinity channel 99 and Verizon FiOS channel 34 within the physical boundaries of Lower Merion, including Narberth, by February 1, 2015.

Limited grant funding is available from Comcast for the provider, along with office space and significant other in-kind services provided by Lower Merion Township.

The deadline for all proposals is 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15.
