Main Line Cancer Foundation Hosting Toy Drive For CHOP

NARBERTH, PA —A Main Line cancer foundation is hosting a toy drive to support ailing kids at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Sydney Harper Foundation is collecting and donating toys, games, and experiences to support the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Child Life.

Donated items will be used in the CHOP oncology playrooms, to celebrate birthdays, and other special occasions.

New toys and games from the wish list below can be dropped off at the following locations or contact John Sandlof to arrange a pickup.

The Sydney Harper Foundation, based in Narberth, was founded in 2018 following the unexpected death of three-year-old Sydney Harper from complications of Wilms Disease, a rare form of pediatric kidney cancer that often strikes without any symptoms.

The foundation creates and funds programs that provide education and awareness of pediatric cancer; increase knowledge around early prevention, detection and treatment of Wilms Disease and other forms of pediatric cancer; provide support, resources and a sense of community to those impacted.
