Main Line Cops Checking Car Seats All Week
One Main Line police department will be conducting child car seat checkpoints Sept. 17 through Sept. 30.

Next week is Child Passenger Safety Week and one Main Line police department will be out in force checking car seats all week.
From Sunday, Sept. 17 to Saturday, Sept. 30, Lower Merion Township Police will be conducting car seat checkpoints throughout the township.
Police said vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death of children one to 14 years old.

In addition to the week of car seat checkpoints, Lower Merion Police do free car seat checks all year to ensure your children are safe and secure in vehicles.
