Main Line PD Offering Free Naloxone Training May 30
The free training will help the public prevent opioid overdose death by teaching them to use Naloxone, an opioid overdose-reversing drug.

With opioids wreaking havoc on communities across the nation through crime, addiction, and overdose deaths, many may wonder how they can help curb the epidemic. And a Main Line police department wants to help the public curb one of those tragic aspects of the opioid crisis.
Willistown Township Police are partnering with Good Fellowship Ambulance and Training Institute and Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services to offer free Naloxone training.
The training will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30.

Naloxone, otherwise known as Narcan, is a drug that can reverse the effects of opioid overdoses.
The free community training will be held in the Willistown Township Police Department, located at 688 Sugartown Road in Malvern.
