Man Breaks Into Bala Cynwyd Apartment Building, Steals Laptop

Police said a man carrying a bike broke into the apartment lobby Friday last week and stole a computer.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A man recently broke into a Bala Cynwyd apartment building and Lower Merion Police are asking for help identifying the suspect.

According to police, officers were called to the Royal Athena Apartments in Bala Cynwyd at about 11:41 a.m. on Saturday for a burglary.

Video from the apartments showed a man carrying a bike come into the property at about 10:03 p.m. on Friday.

The man was in the lobby area for about an hour and went into a storage closet.

He came out of the closet carrying a black trash bag and his bike at about 11:06 p.m.

Police said a Dell Laptop computer was discovered missing from the storage closet.

The suspect is described as a white male with glasses and a beard who was wearing a light blue jacket with a black hood, black backpack, and a Dodgers baseball hat. The bike he was carrying had red tired, police said.
