Man Entered Unlocked Car, Peered Into Bala Cynwyd Homes: Police

Police said the man seen here got inside an unlocked vehicle in Bala Cynwyd and was seen peering into windows of homes in the area.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township are asking for help identifying a man who was caught on camera getting into a vehicle in Bala Cynwyd and peering into area homes.

Police said the man seen above is sought after being captured on security footage getting inside a vehicle parked at a Mary Watersford Road home at about 4 a.m. on Dec. 31.

The man was seen by the victim on the street then getting inside an unlocked vehicle, police said.

The suspect then walked around the victim's property using a flashlight to look in to his window, as well as his neighbors window, police said.

He described as a white male with a beard who was wearing a jacket on top of a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a skull cap.
