Man Pulled Gun, Threw Bottle At Bala Cynwyd Liquor Store Worker

Police in Lower Merion Township said a man assaulted an employee of the Wine and Spirits store at 119 City Ave. in late February.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A worker at a Bala Cynwyd liquor store was assaulted in late February, Lower Merion Police said.

The incident occurred on Feb. 26 at Wine and Spirits, 119 City Ave. in Bala Cynwyd.

Police said a man came into the store and threw a bottle of wine at a cashier.

The man then pulled out a gun during an argument over the store's animal policy, police said.

Police said the man, who was only described as black, left in a black Dodge Charger.
