Narberth, Bala Cynwyd Area Elementary Schools Among PA's Best: Niche

NARBERTH-BALA CYNWYD, PA – Main Line schools are no stranger to accolades, as many often are lauded as the best in the state and in the county. The three Lower Merion Township elementary schools in Narberth and Bala Cynwyd made the top 20 best elementary school in Pennsylvania in Niche.com's new ranks.

According to Niche.com, Cynwyd Elementary in Bala Cynwyd is Pennsylvania's fourth best and the country's 32nd best.

Just shy of the top 10 in Pennsylvania, Belmont Hills Elementary in Bala Cynwyd was ranked the Keystone State's 13th best and the nation's 126th best.

Lastly, Penn Valley Elementary in Narberth was given a No. 17 rank for the state and a No. 158 rank nationally.

Meanwhile, other LMSD schools earned outstanding ranks from Niche.

Penn Wynne Elementary was ranked the state's second best, and the nation's 26th best; Merion Elementary was listed just behind Penn Wynne as the state's third best and was ranked 29th best nationwide; and Gladwyne Elementary was listed as PA's ninth best and the country's 90th best.

Eighteen Main Line-area elementary schools made the best 100 in Pennsylvania, with many ranked toward the top, according to Niche. Ithan Elementary School in the Radnor Township School District was ranked PA's best school.

Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.
