Narberth Oktoberfest Coming Oct. 1, Will Benefit Fire Company, Dickens Festival
8th annual event to be held in downtown Narberth for first time.

The Narbert Business Association is gearing up to host the 2016 Narberth Oktoberfest on Oct. 1. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
This year marks the first time the German themed event will be held in downtown Narberth on Forrest Avenue.
Tickets are $45 – the first 500 sold include a free beer mug – and give access to beer, brats, turkey, music, and more. The event could sell out, but if not tickets will be $50 the day of the event. Purchase tickets now to ensure your spot at the festival.

Anyone under 21 years old is not permitted in the event. Babysitting services are available however, but space is limited. Babysitting until 10 p.m. is limited to the first 80 children of ticket-holders who are pre-registered. Babysitting until midnight is available to the first 30 sign-ups. Local high school students who are certified babysitters will provide babysitting in the big room at Borough Hall and will also have adult supervision. The teens are raising money for group/team activities, donations are encouraged. The babysitting ervice is for potty-trained children only. Organizers said no exceptions will be made for children or pets. Parent's can sign up for Oktoberfest babysitting online.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Narberth Fire Company and the business association's annual Dickens Festival to be held Dec. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. in downtown Narberth.
