New Horizons and Lankenau Medical Center to Celebrate Active Aging Week with a FREE public Movie Screening

In honor of Active Aging Week, New Horizons Senior Center and Lankenau Medical Center invite community members of all ages to a special FREE Screening of the Award-Winning Documentary ‘Age of Champions’ at the Narberth Movie Theatre (129 N. Narberth Ave.) on Wednesday, September 25th at Noon.
This FREE event includes a screening of the charming film, a discussion after the film, and a special door prize drawing for all attendees! In addition, all attendees will be given a special 15% off coupon for lunch or dinner at the Great American Pub in Narberth.
‘Age of Champions’ is the inspiring story of a group of athletes – a 100 year-old tennis champion; an 86-year old pole vaulter; a pair of swimming brothers; and a team of basketball grandmothers – all chasing gold at the National Senior Games. The film captures the triumphant spirit of these seniors who tackle old age with grace, humor and optimism. Win or lose, they are living proof that it’s never too late to become a champion! ‘Age of Champions’ is the second documentary made by The Documentary Foundation for PBS. A trailer for the film can be viewed at www.ageofchampions.org.
