New Parking Zones on Three Narberth Roads Cater to Residents
The parking spaces will have two-hour limits, but residents on those blocks get exemptions.

Residents on three stretches of Narberth roads will gain exemptions from new two-hour-maximum parking zones in front of their houses under an ordinance Narberth Borough Council unanimously enacted Monday night.
The affected areas are the 100 block of Dudley Avenue and segments of Price Avenue and North Essex Avenue. About 125 people live in those areas, Borough Manager Bill Martin said.
"Residents came to us and requested this," said Councilman Bob Wegbreit, chairman of the council's Highway Committee. "It's an opportunity to get more parking available during the day."

The council has made similar changes to the parking ordinance in the past. It should take about a month to notify eligible residents, who will have about another month to obtain their permits, Martin said.
