Reports: Nick Carter Skips Sister's Funeral, Performs in Bala Cynwyd

On Sunday, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter did not attend his sister's funeral in New York but instead performed at stations in Bala Cynwyd, according to several media reports.

US Magazine, the New York Daily News and the (London) Daily Mail reported Leslie Carter died Feb. 1 of a suspected drug overdose and that a complicated family dynamic led to Nick to stay away from the funeral.

The singer performed at Q102 and Mix 106.1 Sunday evening, according to reports. Carter had performed in New York Thursday, two days after the death of his sister, to whom he dedicated that performance.
