Shapiro/Richards Campaign Opens Ardmore Office

The Democratic candidates for county commissioner opened the Lancaster Ave. office on Saturday.

On July 9, Josh Shapiro and Leslie Richards continued their campaign for Montgomery County commissioner with the opening of a new office in Ardmore.

The 1 East Lancaster Avenue facility—which, along with their Abington headquarters is the second office Shapiro and Richards have opened—will have hours seven days a week and will serve as the campaign's Main Line operations center. According to a press release, the office will be used primarily for phone banking, canvassing, and general volunteer projects.

Campaign executive director Lauren Lambrugo said the campaign expects to open five additional offices in the coming months

"Josh and Leslie have been taking their message to all corners of the county, and these new offices will allow us to establish a strong presence in strategic locations throughout the county and enable us to supplement the work being done by Josh and Leslie," said Lambrugo in a press release.

Rep. Shapiro (D-153) is in his fourth term in Harrisburg, while Richards has served as a Whitemarsh Township supervisor since 2007.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The office can be contacted at 215-886-7376.
