State Grant Covers Quarter of Cost to Replace Bala Cynwyd Sewer Pipe
The work took place along Belmont Avenue.

Lower Merion Township announced this week that a state grant will cover $363,022 of the $1.44 million cost to replace a sanitary sewer force main.
More than 1,400 feet of pipe was replaced along Belmont Avenue in an effort to prevent spillage.
Don Cannon, director of public works, said the township initially planned to pay the whole freight, but eventually entered the bidding for a grant through the two-year-old H2O PA Act.
