A teenager was hurt in a shooting that occurred early Wednesday evening in Narberth, according to Lower Merion Police.

NARBERTH, PA — A teenager was hurt in a shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in Narberth.
The shooting took place at about 6:18 p.m. at on the 300 block of Woodbine Avenue in Narberth, Lower Merion Police said.
Lower Merion and Narberth police were called to AFC Urgent Care in the 900 block of Montgomery Avenue for a report of a shooting victim.

Police found a 15-year-old boy being attended to medical staff.
The boy was taken to Lankenau Hospital, where he is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police determined the shooting occurred at a nearby residence in Narberth Borough.
Narberth Police, along with Lower Merion Township Police and The Montgomery County Detective Bureau, are investigating.
Authorities said there is no danger to the community.
Lower Merion School District officials said those involved may be students, but details are unclear.
