Two Businesses Under Construction at Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center
The center's owners have permission to build a bank and a restaurant/retail site.
Earth-moving vehicles worked Thursday at the future site of two Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center businesses.
Federal Realty Investment Trust, the company that owns the shopping center, has permission to build a bank and a second structure for either retail or a restaurant, said Bob Duncan, the township's director of building and planning.
Development manager David Joss could not be reached for comment on the timeline for construction.
