Vacant Building Broken Into In Bala Cywnyd: Police

A man was arrested after he was seen riding up to the building on a bike and going inside it, police said.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A vacant building in Bala Cynwyd was broken into early Thursday morning and a suspect was arrested, Lower Merion Police said.

At about 1 a.m. Thursday, a Lower Merion Police officer saw a door open at a closed business at 230 Rock Hill Road in Bala Cynwyd.

Police said the door was forced open, but no one was in the building.

Then at about 4:30 a.m., police arrested a man who rode up to the building on a bike and went inside it, police said.

The man was arrested, police said. His identity has not been released.
