Brentwood's "Firecracker" Race and Independence Day Parade to Close Part of Brownsville on Monday

Essentially all of Brentwood Borough's portion of Brownsville Road, from Route 51 to Maytide Street, will be closed on Monday from 8 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. to accommodate Brentwood's annual .

Many residents of  and north  use that large section of Brownsville to connect to both areas.

All Port Authority of Allegheny County bus stops along that route will be discontinued on Monday during that time period.
