BALDWIN, PA - Here’s what happened in the elections for the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, Baldwin mayor and council and Whitehall mayor and council:

BALDWIN-WHITEHALL SCHOOL DISTRICT

There was little intrigue. With four open seats and no Republican candidates on the ballot, Democratic incumbents Karen Brown and David Solenday, along with Louise Mancuso Wolf and Gerald Pantone, were elected.

BALDWIN MAYOR AND COUNCIL

Democrat David DePretis was unopposed and re-elected. On council, Democrats Marianne Conley, Francis Scott, Chad Hurka and E. John Egger faced no Republican opposition and were elected.

WHITEHALL MAYOR AND COUNCIL

Democratic Mayor Jim Nowalk defeated Republican challenger Julie Mancine, getting 73 percent of the vote. Regarding the four open council seats, with 100 percent of the vote in, the results are as follows:

Democratic incumbent John Wotus: 17.1 percent.
Democratic incumbent Kathy DePuy: 16.4 perecent.

Republican incumbent: William Veith: 13.2 percent.
Republican incumbent Linda Book: 12.9 percent.

Democrat Alexa Mihalko: 11.3 percent.
Democrat Thomas Kelley: 10.6 percent.
Republican Chris Mooney: 10.2 percent.
Republican Theodore Mueskes: 7.9 percent.
