• Beaver Falls teacher arrested for sexual texts to student with 114% grade average (beavercountyradio.com) — A Big Beaver Falls Area High School teacher has been charged after investigators alleged she exchanged thousands of inappropriate text messages and images with a 16-year-old student and gave him special classroom treatment. District officials say she has been removed from duties involving students and are cooperating with authorities. A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for early September.
