BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday morning following the overnight storm that brought heavy rain, strong winds, and flooding to the area.

School officials said county superintendents met Tuesday afternoon with the Bucks County Emergency Management Team.

Based on the information provided at this meeting and out of an abundance of caution, the Bensalem Township School District will operate on a 2-hour delay for all schools Wednesday morning.

Schools will start two hours later than their usual start time, and buses will also run on a delayed schedule.

The forecast for today is for brightening skies with a high temperature near 50. It will be breezy with a west wind 15 to 25 mph. Overnight it will be partly cloudy with a low around freezing.
