$200K In Tuition Reduction Awarded To Saint Ephrem Catholic School
The check to the Bensalem Township school was in celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. Families will see a savings.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Tuition just got a little cheaper at Saint Ephrem Catholic School.
In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, Saint Ephrem's has received a $200,000 check as a Tuition Reduction Grant through the Tuition Care Program, school officials said.
The Foundation for Catholic Education presented the check at a ceremony earlier this week attended by Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and other dignitaries.

The money will be split among all 211 families in Grades K-8 at the school, giving each family a $948 tuition credit for this school year, school officials stated.
"We are so grateful to the foundation and to the SEC community for making this day happen," the school said in a Facebook post.

The check presentation came about during National Catholic Schools Week, which runs through Saturday.
Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts on the last Sunday in January.
The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2023 is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”
Schools typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses, and other activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members.
Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to churches, communities, and the nation.
