3 Of The Nation's Most Dangerous Neighborhoods Are In Pa.

Three Pennsylvania neighborhoods have landed on a list of the country’s most violent communities.

According to recent crime data analyzed by NeighborhoodScout, Pennsylvania has three of the 25 most dangerous neighborhoods in the country. NeighborhoodScout looks at FBI data collected by 17,000 local law enforcement agencies in order to determine which neighborhoods made the list. Crimes analyzed include murder, rape, armed robbery and aggravated assault.

The Pennsylvania neighborhoods listed as some of the country’s most dangerous include:

• Chicago St / Mount Pleasant Rd in Pittsburgh, which was ranked 3rd
• Bedford Ave / Chauncey Dr in Pittsburgh, which was ranked 12th
• N 15th St / W Dauphin St in Philadelphia, which was ranked 25th

“These neighborhoods are the epicenters of violence in America, where social issues are likely to ignite into violence and spread,” NeighborhoodScout said in its analysis.
