1 Dead, 2 Injured In Shooting In Bensalem Twp.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —One person is dead and two people are injured after being shot Tuesday night, and police said the suspect is on the loose.

Bensalem Township Police responded at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday to the area of Bristol Pike and Woodbine Avenue for the report of a large group of juveniles fighting.

While en-route, the call was upgraded to a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, Bensalem Police found three shooting victims at that location.

All three victims were transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment. The conditions of the other two victims are unknown at this time.

It was determined that there was a single shooter that fled the scene in a vehicle northbound on Bristol Pike after the shooting.

This is an active investigation and residents are urged to stay away from the area.

Police said they will release more details as they become available.
