625 Years Of School Service Leaves With Bensalem Retirees

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township School District has said goodbye to 28 employees who have retired after serving a combined 625 years.

The school board honored the employees at a recent meeting.

"Congratulations and best wishes to our 2022-2023 retirees," the school district said. "These individuals have contributed a sum total of 625 years of service to the students, faculty, staff, and the entire Bensalem community. We wish them well in all their future endeavors."

The retired employees and their years of service are:

• Gary Borek —Truck Driver, Districtwide, 27 years
• Maria Carsley —ESL Teacher, Rush, 29 years
• Terry Clemens —Non-Teaching Assistant, High School, 41 years
• April Coleman —Bus Driver, VMC, 22 years
• China D’Andrea —School Aide, Struble, 27 years
• Shawn Donnelly —Bus Driver, VMC 9 years
• Donna Elberson —Head Cook, Belmont, 26 years
• Elizabeth Everly —General Worker, High School, 3 years
• Robin Fanini —Facilities Coordinator, Districtwide/Maintenance, 39 years
• Leslie Fleming —Certified School Nurse, Valley/Rush, 29 years
• Phyllis Gross —Instructional Assistant, High School 18 years
• Jaclyn Guarrieri —2nd Grade Teacher, Rush, 7 years
• Gail Karafin —Part-Time Psychologist, High School, 20 years
• Cherie Keba —Registered Nurse, High School, 23 years
