Bensalem Car Thefts: Police Arrest 3 Juveniles, Seeking Other Suspects
Police say this "may be an organized group of individuals," and are trying to determine if the crimes in Eddington are related.
BENSALEM, PA — Police say thieves targeted Bensalem's Eddington section on Wednesday night, stealing three vehicles and trying to take ATVs from a local business.
Bensalem Police say this "may be an organized group of individuals." Officers trying to determine if the crimes are related. Police also urge people to lock their cars and take their keys inside their homes, as all three stolen cars had the keys still inside.
Officers arrested three juvenile males seen pulling up to East Coast Cycle on Bristol Pike in a UHaul around 1:30 a.m., police said.

The trio came in through the back yard and were in the process of stealing ATVs when police arrived. The three juveniles ran away, and police arrested them "after an extensive search of the area."
Three car thefts took place between 2:30 and 6:30 that morning, police said.

At 2:38, someone reported a stolen car from the Wawa on Bristol Pike. Police said the owner "left his vehicle unlocked with the keys in the ignition and went inside of the store." Police said two men dressed in all black got into the car, and went south on Bristol Pike.
At 6:05, police took a report of a stolen car on Elwood Avenue. The owner said someone took a white Hyundai Elantra overnight. The car was parked in front of the house and was unlocked with the keys inside, police said.
And at 6:30, a Bowman Avenue reported their Ford Fusion had been taken overnight. The car was reportedly locked, but the key fob was still inside, police said.
"ALL of these vehicles were stolen because the keys were left inside of the vehicle," police said. "This is a reminder that you should TAKE your keys, REMOVE your valuables and LOCK your vehicle anytime that you are not driving."

Elsewhere in Bucks County, officers say a group is targeting unlocked vehicles in Warrington, Doylestown, New Britain and Solebury.
Six vehicles were stolen with one recovered in Doylestown and one tracked to Chester City but not recovered. Four burglaries were also reported, said the Warrington Township police chief. And more than 25 thefts from vehicles are under investigation.
