Bensalem Jobs Fair Will Focus On Health Care

BENSALEM, PA — Healthcare jobs will be a major focus of an upcoming jobs fair in Bensalem.

RecruitmentQueen's fifth-annual New Year Career Fair is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Sears court at Neshaminy Mall. The mall is at 707 Neshaminy Mall.

By 2025, home health aides will make up the largest percentage of the 2.3 million new healthcare workers needed to care for the aging population, according to a CNN report. Nurse’s aides are expected to be another profession with dramatic shortages in the coming years.

So far, Friends Hospital, Horsham Clinic, Bayada Home Health Care, TMA Bucks, Salute2Service, Traffic Plan, Pennswood Village, Preferred Home Health Care & NursingServices, Univest, PA Career Link, Weichert Realtors, Vertical Screen, Foundations Behavioral Health, PeopleShare, Always Best Care Senior Services, Delta-T Group, The Protocall Group and Sunrise of Lower Makefield have signed up to exhibit at the fair.

In addition to health care, the job fair will feature positions in a variety of fields, including financial services, customer service, clerical, administrative, food service and more.

In all, more than 500 local jobs are expected to be available from several dozen employers at the fair. Job seekers attending will get a chance at one-on-one access to recruiters and other company representatives.

They are advised to dress in job-interview attire and bring plenty of copies of their resumes.
