Bensalem Man Charged With Rape In Bristol Break-In
He told officers he was on a five-day meth binge when he broke into a woman's home and punched and assaulted her, police say.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bensalem man was on meth when he broke into a home in Bristol Township, punched and raped a woman who'd been sleeping inside, then walked away while still naked, according to police.
Anthony Thomas Clayborn, 29, is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, burglary, criminal trespass and other crimes in the incident, which happened in the early morning hours on Saturday, according to court documents.
According to a police affidavit, Clayborn told officers he was on a five-day crystal meth binge. He was arrested shortly before 6 a.m. in the 2200 block of Foster Avenue Circle, wearing only a towel.

The woman told police that she awoke to find an unknown man naked and sexually assaulting her. She began to struggle and the man punched her in the mouth, knocking out a tooth and cutting her lip, according to the affidavit.
The woman was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.

Police say the woman's parents woke up and chased her attacker out of their home, on Venice Avenue. Police were called. They'd already been alerted to another incident in the area in which a resident said a naked man approached his wife and called her "mommy."
That man ran away when the woman poked him with an umbrella, according to police.
Clayborn was spotted and arrested after a third report of a man matching the same description.
While he admitted to being on meth and breaking into the home, Clayborn denied sexually assaulting the woman, according to the affidavit. He was being held in Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 29.
