Bensalem Mayor's Scholarship Applications Due Wednesday
Applications for the Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship are being accepted for high school seniors living in Bensalem Township.
BENSALEM, PA — High school seniors in Bensalem have one more day to apply for the Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship.
The deadline for applications for the scholarship is Wednesday, April 17.
Established to help local students attend college, the scholarship's foundation awards $2,000 scholarships to five students selected by a scholarship committee from the applications received. To qualify, a student must be a senior living in Bensalem Township.

Applicants are asked to provide academic and family financial information, their plans for college and write a 500-word essay stating why they think they deserve the scholarship.
