Bensalem National Night Out Is Aug. 6
The nationwide event is intended to promote police-community relationships and community camaraderie.

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem's police and fire departments, along with others, are gearing up for this year's National Night Out.
The night out is set for 6-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the township pavilion at 2400 Byberry Rd.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community relationships and neighborhood camaraderie.

In Bensalem, police and fire vehicles will be on display, including motorcycles, patrol cars, SWAT trucks police drones and helicopters, fire trucks and more.
There will be a police K9 demonstration and police will have their "Behind Closed Doors" education trailer. Pennsylvania National Guard will be there with a video game experience and there will be an inflatable baseball speed-pitch game.
