Police Make $1M Heroin Drug Bust Near Neshaminy Mall

A $1 million daytime drug bust transpired Wednesday afternoon near the Neshaminy Mall, authorities said.

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police made a $1 million heroin bust near the Neshaminy Mall during the day on Nov. 14, authorities announced. According to police, two men from Philadelphia were apprehended after being found with a kilo of heroin. They also had loaded semi-automatic guns at the time of their arrest, police said.

The situation unfolded at 1:20 p.m.

Edgar A. Molina-Liriano, 33, and Juan Santos-Mendez, 27, are facing felony drug charges.

The kilo of heroin is enough to be broken down into approximately 100,000 dosage units. It has a street value of approximately $1,000,000, police said.

Both suspects were arraigned on charges of drug delivery and possession. Bail was set at 10 percent of $900,000 for both.

They were remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 21, court records show.
