Bensalem Releases 2016 Street Sweeping Schedule

Bensalem Township Department of Public Works has released the spring and summer street sweeping schedule.

Sweeping gets underway March 28 and goes through October. Sweeping will be done Monday through Friday, according to the township.

Whenever possible, residents should remove cars from the streets the week their neighborhood is scheduled for sweeping.

Here is the schedule. Once the entire schedule has been completed, the route starts over again, according to Bensalem Township.

Week 1 - March 28 - April 1

Hansell Drive, Knights Road, Byberry Road, Annina Lane, Tucker Road, Essington Way section, Belmont Ridge section, Rockhill Drive, Columbia Drive, Woodsview Drive, Hidden Valley section, Country Village section, Apple Way, White Oak Lane

Week 2 – April 4 - April 8

Trevose section, Oakford section, Linconia section and Concord Park section

Week 3 - April 11– April 15

Nottingham section, Tillman Drive, Century Lane, Murray Avenue, Stanwood section, Atlantic Avenue, Asbury Avenue, Brown Avenue, Virginia Avenue.

Week 4 - April 18 – April 22

Springdale section, Neshaminy Valley section

Week 5 - April 25 – April 29

Neshaminy Valley section, Barnsleigh West section, Belmont Hills section

Week 6 - May 2 - May 6

Newportville section, Harvest Run West section, Barnsleigh East section, Salem Point section.

Week 7 - May 9 - May 13

Village Green section, Eddington section, Upper Cornwells Heights section

Week 8 - May 16 – May 20

Wellington Estates section, Brookwood section, Executive Park section, Valley Meadows section

Week 9 - May 23 – May 27

Woodridge East section, Glen Ashton Farms section, The Clusters section, Timber Lane section, The Coves section, Mill Creek Farms section

Week 10 - May 31 – June 3

Andalusia West section, Rywall Park section, Lower Cornwells Heights section. The Township is closed Monday, May 30, 2016 for the Memorial Day holiday.

Week 11 – June 6 – June 10

I-95 Industrial Park, Clive Avenue, Moore Avenue, Center Avenue, etc.

Week 12 - June 13 – June 17

Andalusia East section, Echo Beach section, Torresdale Manor section, Lower Andalusia section
