Bensalem School Nurse Receives Award of Excellence
Since 1992, Leslie Fleming has provided nursing services to more than 25,000 Bensalem students and staff.

BENSALEM, PA — Rush/Valley Elementary Certified School Nurse Leslie Fleming has been selected as a recipient of the 2017 Nursing Excellence Award presented by Gwynedd Mercy University Frances M. Maguire School of Nursing and Health Professions, the Bensalem Township School District announced this week.
Since 1992, Fleming has provided nursing services to more than 25,000 Bensalem students and staff.
"In addition to providing nursing services, Ms. Fleming has organized numerous blood drives, forged several community partnerships in order to provide holiday assistance for families in need, orients newly hired substitute nurses within the district and has been a preceptor for nursing students from Holy Family University and Bucks County Community College for community nursing rotations," the announcement from the district said.
