Bensalem Schools To Hold Education Expo Tuesday

The expo is designed to showcase education opportunities available to Bensalem students, from high-tech STEM to art, theater and dance.

BENSALEM, PA — With the new school year under way, an expo designed to showcase education opportunities for students has been set for Tuesday at Bensalem High School.

The expo will be from 7-9 p.m. at the school, at 4319 Hulmeville Rd. in Bensalem.

Bensalem Township School District will be showing off opportunities ranging from high-tech STEM offerings to theater, art and dance. Information about the district's partnership with the Franklin Institute and brain-based learning in Bensalem schools will be available.

Attendees will be able to tour the high school, including:

  • Bensalem High's STEM Lab
  • K-8 STEM 0pportunities including Makerspace, drones and coding
  • the nationally recognized FIRST Robotics Team
  • 21st Century business labs and coding courses
  • Owls Television Network studio
  • dedicated dance studio
  • state-of-the-art visual arts rooms
  • Child Development/Pre-School program and lab
  • forensics crime scene lab
  • Media Center and Internet Cafe
  • Drama Club and musical productions
  • musical group performances/rehearsals
  • digital piano lab
  • K-8 project-based learning
  • gymnasium
  • natatorium
