Bensalem ShopRite Gets Approval To Sell Wine Under New State Law
Bucks County grocery stores in Doylestown, Bensalem, New Hope and Fairless Hills have been approved to sell wine under new state law.

Local retailers have been quick to capitalize on the new liquor reform laws recently passed in Pennsylvania.
The new law, approved in June and effective since Aug. 8, means approved grocery stores, restaurants and hotels can now sell up to four bottles of wine for takeout.
Four in Bucks County have been approved, including ShopRite in Bensalem.

So far, according to Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Director of Communications Elizabeth Brassell, 84 applications for expanded wine sales have been approved.
More stores will be added as approvals continue.
