Boyle and Richardson Earn All-Conference Honors at CACC Championship

Philadelphia, Pa. - Senior David Richardson (Fairless Hills, Pa.) and freshman Jennifer Boyle (Monroe Woodbury, N.Y./Monroe Woodbury) highlighted the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championship for the Holy Family University men's and women's cross country teams after earning All-CACC honors Sunday morning. This year's championship was hosted by Philadelphia University at the Belmont Plateau.
Richardson, who earned All-CACC honors last year for the first time, finished ninth overall among 66 competitors to lead the men's squad to a sixth place team finish. The two-time All-CACC honoree completed the five mile course in a time of 28:37.
Senior John Hill (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern) was the next Holy Family runner to cross the finish line as he finished 24th overall with a time of 30:07. Fellow classmate Robert Landgraf (Abington, Pa./Abington) recorded a time of 31:32 for a 38th place showing.
On the women's side, Boyle finished 11th overall among 85 competitors to lead the Tigers to a sixth place team finish. Boyle finished the 5k-course in a time of 21:03 as she was the Tigers' top finisher for the seventh straight meet.
Sophomore Sarah Bariglio (Vineland, N.J./St. Joseph HS) recorded a top-25 finish after finishing 23rd overall with a time of 21:54. Junior Dominique Thomas (Laurelton, N.Y./Law Government Service Magnet) followed with a 28th place showing as she crossed the finish line with a time of 22:17. Fellow classmate Delainey Price (Cheltenham, Md./Frederick Douglass) finished 37th overall after recording a time of 22:54.
Holy Family will compete next at the NCAA Division II Regional two weeks from today (Nov. 4).
