Holy Family University To Sponsor ‘Build A Library’ Donation Project
For the seventh consecutive year, the Holy Family University Athletics Department will sponsor 'Build-A-Library' book donation project.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (September, 12, 2012) - For the seventh consecutive year, the Holy Family University Athletics Department will sponsor 'Build-A-Library' book donation project. This year the department is requesting donations of new children's books, which will be donated to Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School in Philadelphia.
Bethune has a student enrollment of approximately 700, with grades ranging from pre-kindergarten through eight. The donation of new children's books will assist the school in upgrading its library to serve the educational needs of its students.
Holy Family is once again looking for support from the campus community and the Philadelphia area to make this year's effort a major success. This year, the head librarian from Bethune has provided a list of books by category, title and author that the school is requesting to help fill the library. Two copies of each title are requested, unless noted otherwise. You may access the book list with the link provided at the end of this release or by visiting the Holy Family Athletics official website at http://athletics.holyfamily.edu
Those that donate books, please contact Associate Director of Athletics, Robin Arnold via email (rarnold1@holyfamily.edu) so that the book list can be updated with the quantities donated.
In addition to the donation of books, those that are interested can also make a monetary donation (checks payable to 'Holy Family University') and the money raised will be used to purchase book(s) in the name of the donator.
Please note, if you are unable to purchase any of the books from the list, please keep in mind that the school is requesting hardcover books only and standard size - Trade or Library binding - No paperbacks and no perma-bound or rebound books (paperback books with hard covers).
Books will be collected through Nov. 9. Please see Robin Arnold, or any member of the Athletics Department with your book or monetary donation.
Since 2006, the Holy Family athletics department along with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), has donated over 9,000 new books to eight Philadelphia area schools.
