Good morning,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to let you know what my future blogs will focus on.

My name is Dominic Chilberti and I have been involved in the mortgage business for the past 20 years. I have owned 2 different mortgage companies in that time and I am currently a branch manager for a local banker based out of New Jersey.

My goal with this blog is to inform fellow professionals and consumers alike about the mortgage market place, what lenders are looking for in regards to getting approved for a mortgage and what to expect while going through the mortgage process.

The process has indeed become much more difficult in these past couple of years but much of what has happened was needed. There have been many things that have also gone too far but that is to be expected after the great real estate bubble that we have all just lived through.
