Technology. Love it or hate it!

Hello!

My name is Rick D'Aguanno. I am the owner of Pro-Formance Computers LLC here in Bensalem. We provide "In Home and Office" computer repairs and sales. We come to you!

I hope to be a regular contributor here on the Patch, talking about Technology. Everything, from what's cool and new, to how it affects our lives, and how we either love it or hate it! I'll try to offer some tips and tricks and give my opinion on what I think is worth a look. And throw in a little humor to smooth it over.

I started my company 8 years ago here in Bensalem. Before that, I worked in a machine shop, programming cnc machines and setting up office computers and networking. Can anyone remember Windows 3.1? Or Dos?

While working there, I was repairing computers part time for friends and family. And started many of them with computers in their businesses. I hand built my first computer from a kit. And as a kid, I grew up watching Star Trek and Lost in Space. So, yeah, I'm a technology junkie. So here we are today, surrounded by electronic tech in almost everything. From cars to washing machines, cameras, phones etc.
