BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bucks County man who was found with the triple shooting suspect in Ohio last month faces more charges in that state.

But the Bensalem Township Police Department told Patch that they "have no indication" that Joshua Marquez was in Bensalem at the time of the triple shooting in which a 14-year-old township student was killed on Halloween night.

Marquez, 25, of Falls Township, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant on Nov. 27 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, for robbery and taking property from others through the use of force, the Bucks County Sheriff's Office said.

"There are no charges on him regarding the Bensalem homicide so we will not be extraditing him," Sgt. Glenn Vandegrift said.

Sean Hughes, 19, of Lower Makefield Township, was named as the person of interest in the Halloween triple shooting by the Bensalem Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office based on their investigative leads and tips from the public.

Hughes died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after feeling police in Marysville, Ohio, after police there located the vehicle used in the Bensalem triple shooting.

Marquez, a passenger in the vehicle, was charged in Ohio with felony weapons possession.

Peter Romano, 14, a Snyder Middle School student, was one of three teenagers who were shot around Bristol Pike at 7:35 p.m. on Halloween, police said. Romano was shot in the chest and pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Court records state that Marquez was involved when he was a teenager in a robbery in 2015.

Marquez faces charges in Ohio including two counts of receiving stolen property, eluding police, and obstructing official business, according to the indictment. He remains incarcerated in Ohio in lieu of a $250,000 bond, the Bucks County Courier Times reported..
