Bucks County Fireworks Guide For 2017

It's almost July, which means soon fireworks will light up the skies in various summer celebrations of America. Fireworks displays will be held throughout the month around Bucks County. Some will be held on July 4; others will be held the weekend before the holiday, as well as later in the month.

SATURDAY, JULY 1

What: Riverside Symphonia Concert/Fireworks
Where: Tinicum Park, River Road, Erwinna
More: Celebrate the 4th of July holiday weekend with an evening of light classical, popular, and patriotic music and a grand fireworks finale under the stars along the banks of the Delaware River. Concert starts at 8 p.m. Click here for tickets/more information.

SUNDAY, JULY 2

What: Washington Crossing Fireworks
Where: Washington Crossing Historic Park, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing
More: The fun gets underway at 8 p.m., when the Broad Street Brass will hold a free concert featuring patriotic music and other selections. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. (fireworks rain date is July 7). All activities will be held in the large field diagonal to the park’s Visitor Center and across River Road. Click here for more information.

MONDAY, JULY 3

What: Sesame Place Fireworks
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
More: Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count followed by a fireworks show at 9:25 p.m. (Fireworks to be held Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4.) Click here for more information.

TUESDAY, JULY 4

What: Fireworks in Newtown
Where: Veterans Park, Rt. 413, Newtown Township
More: The show will start around 9 p.m. The Veterans Park Entrance on Rt. 413/Durham Rd. will be closed to prevent traffic issues. Entrance and Parking can be reached via Wrights Rd. into Newtown Elementary and St. Andrews Elementary. Click here for more information.

What: Southampton Days Fireworks
Where: Behind Klinger Middle School, 1415 2nd St Pike, Southampton
More: The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:35 p.m. Click here for more information.

What: Sesame Place Fireworks
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
More: Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count followed by a fireworks show at 9:25 p.m. Click here for more information.

FRIDAY, JULY 7

What: First Friday Fireworks
Where: Along the Delaware River in New Hope and Lambertville
More: The fireworks coincide with the Chamber’s “First Fridays” program, which features various special promotions and events at galleries, stores and restaurants in both New Hope and Lambertville between 5 and 9 p.m. Click here for more information.

SUNDAY, JULY 16

What: The Thompson Performing Arts Series Concert and Fireworks
Where: Doylestown's Central Park, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown
More: The fun begins at 7 p.m. when Bigg Romeo will perform a concert at Doylestown's Central Park, 425 Wells Road. Fireworks will follow the music. The cost is $5 per car. The rain date is July 23. Click here for more information.
